Christmas Parties

Gotta Love family Christmas parties! Being surrounded by those you love and then the great food that comes with it! We had a great time catching up with families that we don't get to see much of. This time of the year is very tiring for the kids, but I wouldn't want things any other way! I hope everyone had a wonderful - blessed Christmas and we want to wish everyone a Happy New Year!

Kicking off the Christmas season

Brandon and I always take the kids to see Santa. Abbie is totally fine with it, but I think Bryce got quite a scare this year. I love this time of the year. You have a time to be thankful for the things God has blessed us with and then a time to celebrate the upcoming birth of Jesus. During this time of the year, nothing is more important to me than having family gatherings and being around those you love. May all of you have a blessed Christmas time!

GOTTA LOVE NASCAR!!!!!!

Brandon and I share the same interest, and now the same driver, in NASCAR! GO TONY! Every year, we take a trip with another couple and head on down to Bristol, Tennessee. We have attended the March race, which CAN consist of snow a FEW blown trailer tires, and the August race, which is EXTREME temps of over 100 degrees and an overheated truck engine! Still worth the time going for us! We always stay at a campground that is very local to the track. The campground is just across the river out of the back stretch. It's not your typical campground with all the wonderful hook ups, it is a very rustic, very hilly campground with no hook ups. The campground MIGHT also require your trailer to be leveled with a couple cinder blocks or an aweful lot of wood! Still worth while for us to go!

First time blogging!

Ooooo, this took me a while! At times, me and computers are like salt in an open wound - not always the best combination! After about an hour., and with Brandon's help.... I finally got this going! Oops, don't want to scare others who are considering blogging. Overall, I am very excited to get this going!
