Our Easter weekend was quite a busy one, but we made sure we set aside time to have our pedicure and manicure. All of it was WELL worth it considering Friday night road travel was not one of its greatest, but with a big 4x4 truck I can make it anywhere! Abbie LOVED her first pedicure and manicure and Donna did a terrific job with her, while my cousin Kelli pampered me! My best friend, Sue, was even able to come along thanks to Rachelle who came in especially for Sue! Since Abbie loved to be pampered I can see many pedicures and manicures in our future!

G.N.O.!!! (Girls Night Out)
Our Easter weekend was quite a busy one, but we made sure we set aside time to have our pedicure and manicure. All of it was WELL worth it considering Friday night road travel was not one of its greatest, but with a big 4x4 truck I can make it anywhere! Abbie LOVED her first pedicure and manicure and Donna did a terrific job with her, while my cousin Kelli pampered me! Lovin' the Easter bunny? NOT! Just give me the eggs!
My mom's office has an Easter Egg Hunt every year and all of the employees can take their kids or grandkids. Abbie has been going to these hunts for many years, but as for Bryce this was his first year that he could experience it. I wonder if all kids have the same reaction when they see the Easter Bunny for the first time???? I still haven't decided which one Bryce disliked the most - Santa or the Easter bunny! Hopefully his fear of characters change before we go see Mickey Mouse :-)! Since there was snow on the ground, they had to move the hunt to the inside and I had to stay with Bryce so I am sorry to Abbie that I don't have any real good pictures of her "hunting". She had to maneuver herself through all of the office cubicles - very hard to get pictures of that! However, the picture shows that she didn't have a real difficult time doing that - I now have enough candy to last me until Christmas!
Easter Morning celebration!!!!!
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future......." I would have to say that THIS was the most important part of Easter. My sister-in-law made profession of faith that morning. At first, I thought that having this on Easter would just seem to make a busy Easter morning service for their church, but then after thinking about it - could you think of a better day? The whole point of Easter is NEW LIFE and Helene has just started her NEW LIFE! What a PERFECT day to do it on! Congrats Helene!
Words just can't describe how wonderful it feels to have a loving church family/home. Now Jeff and Helene have that same feeling! They found a loving church family that they can call home and nothing is more important than that! This truely was a WONDERFUL Easter morning!

Party time! After the festivities at Jeff and Helene's church, we moved the party over to their house! Good fellowship, lots of laughs, and you can't forget GREAT food! Then to top it off, Uncle Jeff and Aunt Helene were busy the past week or two gathering goodies for all of the nieces and nephew's easter baskets! What a wonderful and unexpected surprise! Bryce was just too into his John Deere tractor that Uncle Jeff and Aunt Helene picked out for him that he just didn't have time to eat and he didn't even care about what else was in his basket. I just can't describe how wonderful our Easter was! God is SO good!

"Baskets" full of fun
It's hard to believe how creative an 18 month old can be! I love to get these little candid shots of Bryce. I got the same type of pictures of Abbie when she was that same age. It is really fun to see what kind of "pickle" they can get themselves into, whether it is a 9x13 pan, laundry basket, or a little shopping cart!
